Hello! I have a Kadjar myself and I think I know what you are talking about. I had similar overheating issues a while ago. Was the electric fan not spinning at all, or was it running intermittently?

The fan was not activating at all. I have checked the fuses and relays, and these appear to be in working order. I suspect a fault within the fan motor circuit itself. Did you check the electric motor?

Yes, my issue was very similar. I would advise you take it to a workshop. They identified it quickly and it was a faulty cable connection, as you also suspect. Replacing it solved the problem completely.

Thank you for the information. I have had the cable and plug connection replaced; the total repair cost was 95€. The engine cooling is now working as expected.
