Kadjar heavy steering vibration

Hey, I had something similar with my Kadjar. Felt like I was wrestling a bear to turn the wheel sometimes! Does the shaking happen at certain speeds, or is it all the time? Also, have you noticed if the traction control light is on?

The shaking is mostly at lower speeds, like when parking. The traction control light hasn't come on, no. I read somewhere that a faulty steering angle sensor coding can cause these symptoms. Could that be it?

Yep, that's exactly what it was for me! The garage told me the coding on the steering angle sensor was messed up. They recalibrated it, and it sorted the issue. Although the increased effort required when steering could indicate a more serious problem with the power steering system. I would suggest visiting the workshop.

Thanks for the confirmation! I took it to a local workshop, and they confirmed the coding on the steering angle sensor was faulty. Recoding the sensor fixed the issue. Total cost was 195€. Cheers!
