Kadjar Idle Air Control Valve Issue

Hello, I have a 2018 Renault Kadjar with a gasoline engine. Recently, the check engine light illuminated, and the error memory indicates a problem with the idle air control valve. The engine stalls at idle. I suspect the intake might be heavily contaminated. Has anyone experienced something similar?

I had a similar issue with my Kadjar. The symptoms you describe mirror my experience. Is the engine's behavior similar to a tap running dry because it cannot draw enough water?

That analogy is quite accurate. What did you do to resolve the issue?

Considering the complexity and potential impact on engine performance, my recommendation would be to consult a qualified mechanic. It is quite difficult to resolve yourself. I ended up paying 425€ at the workshop to get it fixed, but it solved the problem.
