Kadjar injection system issues
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Renault Kadjar with a diesel engine is experiencing injection system issues, including higher fuel consumption, reduced engine power, occasional stalling, and smoke during acceleration. The suspected cause is a defective cable or plug connection. A similar issue was resolved by checking and repairing a faulty connector, specifically on the fuel pressure sensor, which was confirmed and fixed by a workshop, leading to the car running perfectly again.

Thanks for the info! When you say 'dodgy connection,' do you mean a specific sensor or component connector, or just generally checking all of them? Trying to narrow down the search a bit.

In my case, it was the connector for the fuel pressure sensor. But honestly, it's worth checking them all, especially if you've been doing any recent maintenance. If you're not comfortable doing it yourself, it might be worth getting a workshop to take a look. They'll have the diagnostic tools to pinpoint the problem quickly.

Took it to the workshop, and you were spot on! It was a defective connector on one of the injectors. New connector installed, and the car is running perfectly again. Total cost was 95€ Thanks for the help!

Sounds familiar! I had similar symptoms on my old Peugeot 308. Turned out to be a dodgy connection in the injection system. Have you checked all the connectors and wiring for any signs of corrosion or damage? A bad connection can definitely cause those power and fuel issues.
