Kadjar intake air temperature sensor issue

I'm having some engine issues with my 2018 Renault Kadjar (gasoline engine). The check engine light is on, and I'm experiencing reduced power and rough running. I scanned the error memory and it points to a faulty intake air temperature sensor. Mileage is at 66385 km. Has anyone else run into this?

Summary of the thread

It is suggested to check the sensor's temperature readings and consider professional diagnosis and replacement if necessary.

Hey, I had a similar problem with my Kadjar. Same symptoms, check engine light and all. Have you checked the temperature reading from the sensor? See if it even changes.

Thanks for the quick reply! No, I haven't checked the live temperature readings yet. Where exactly is the IAT sensor located on the engine?

It's usually on the intake manifold, but honestly, diagnosing it yourself might be tricky. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to confirm it's the IAT sensor. I eventually had to replace mine, cost about 155€ including labor.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I'll take it to a shop and have them confirm. Good to know about the potential cost too. I'll post the resolution when I have it.
