Kadjar oil level sensor faulty

Thanks for the reply! I did have a quick look at the sensor and wiring, but didn't see anything obvious like frayed wires or anything. It seems to happen more when the engine is warm, but that could just be me imagining it. When you say 'somewhat similar', do you mean the same error code, or just similar symptoms? What ended up being the problem with your Volvo?

In my case, it was similar symptoms, although the specific error code differed since it was a different vehicle and sensor. Considering the intermittent nature and your visual inspection, I recommend consulting with a qualified technician. It is possible that the sensor itself is faulty, or there may be an issue within the engine's oil monitoring system. The estimated repair cost for addressing an oil level sensor issue is approximately 95€, but it depends on the labor rate of your workshop.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I appreciate you sharing your experience with the Volvo. I'm going to take it to a workshop and have them check it out. Knowing it might just be the sensor or a connection issue makes me feel a bit better. Hopefully, it's a quick and easy fix!

I understand your concern regarding the oil level sensor issue in your Renault Kadjar. I had a somewhat similar experience with my previous Volvo V60. The error messages and warning lights were quite distracting. Have you inspected the sensor connection and wiring for any signs of damage or corrosion? Also, does the error occur intermittently or is it constant?
