Thanks for the quick response! When the radio is working, there's a lot of static, especially on weaker stations. But then sometimes it just dies completely and displays the error message. Where exactly would I find the antenna ground to check it properly? I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to electrics.

Okay, the static definitely points to a possible antenna issue. Finding the ground can be awkward, it varies by car. Honestly, with those symptoms and a stored error, I'd advise getting it checked professionally. Could be a faulty antenna amplifier too. Save yourself the headache and potential damage.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed the antenna was defective. Cost me 255€ to replace it. Everything is working fine now!

Antenna issues can be tricky. Are you getting any static or just a completely dead signal? Have you tried an antenna booster? Sometimes the ground connection can corrode too; have you checked that?
