Kadjar rail pressure sensor fault

Hi, I'm having trouble with my 2016 Renault Kadjar diesel. It's got 203837 km on the clock. The check engine light is on, the engine sometimes stalls at idle, and power is definitely reduced. I'm getting a 'rail pressure sensor signal faulty' error. I'm suspecting the pressure sensor itself is defective. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hello, I think I had a similar problem with my Kadjar. Check engine light, engine stalling occasionally, the whole shebang. If it is what I suspect it is, it's going to be expensive. I hope it is not the fuel pump itself.

Well, I can't say for certain it's the exact same issue, but the symptoms sound awfully familiar. To be sure, you should check it at a workshop. In my case, it turned out to be the sensor, but better be safe than sorry.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I took it to the workshop, and you were right - rail pressure sensor was faulty. They replaced it, and the car is running smoothly again. Total cost was 240€.
