Kadjar weak battery and flickering lights

I'm having some issues with my 2020 Renault Kadjar diesel. It has 170973 km on the clock. Lately, the battery seems weak when starting, and the lights flicker sometimes, especially at idle. I've checked the battery voltage, and it seems a bit low. I suspect it might be the battery sensor. Anyone else had a similar problem?

Hello! I had a similar issue with my Kadjar. Same symptoms: weak starts and flickering lights. I ran some diagnostics and found some anomalies with the battery charge reporting. I am curious - did you run any error code diagnostics?

In my case, the error codes pointed to a faulty voltage sensor. After further testing, it became clear that the battery sensor was defective, causing inaccurate readings and insufficient charging. Considering your symptoms and the mileage, it's highly likely you have the same issue. I'd recommend visiting a workshop for proper diagnosis and repair. It costed me around 315€ to get it sorted.
