Kalos Blower Motor Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2003 Chevrolet Kalos is experiencing blower motor failure, and there is suspicion that a faulty auto recirculation (AUC) sensor might be the cause. While connections appear intact, there is concern about potential defects in the cable or plug connection. A similar issue was resolved by addressing a faulty AUC sensor or its connection, suggesting that a diagnostic check might be necessary to identify and fix the problem.

Where was the fuse located that fixed it for you? Was it specific to the blower motor or labeled something else?

Fuses looked fine for me, sadly. I spent ages on them! The problem continued, so after a while, I kinda gave up and took it to a workshop. They ran a diagnostic check and found the AUC sensor itself was faulty, or more likely, a connection to it was. Cost me 95€ to get sorted.

Thanks for the info! I'll check the fuses again, but it sounds like I might be heading to the shop as well. Appreciate the heads up about the possible cost. At least now I have a rough idea what to expect.

Dude, no way! I had the EXACT same problem on my Kalos! I was losing my mind trying to figure it out. Before you dive too deep, did you double-check all the fuses? Sometimes it's the simplest thing that gets ya.
