Thanks for the reply. No, the engine cooling seems normal, and I haven't seen any coolant leaks. Could this still point to a sensor calibration issue?

In my Astra, the coolant level and engine temperature were also normal. Considering the symptoms and error codes, the temperature sensor could be the problem, but with the HVAC failing too, it might be best to have a workshop check it out.

Thanks for the information. I took it to a workshop, and you were right. The air conditioning control unit was defective and needed to be replaced. The total repair was 980€.

That sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms in my 2012 Opel Astra – error messages, and the climate control wouldn't work. Was the engine cooling or coolant level also affected?
