Kalos Windshield Washer Heater Fault
Summary of the thread
The 2007 Chevrolet Kalos is experiencing a windshield washer heater fault, leading to frozen spray nozzles in cold weather. The issue may stem from a bad cable or plug connection. A similar problem in another vehicle was caused by a corroded connection on the heater element. A workshop visit is suggested for a thorough diagnosis and repair.

Thanks for responding. You mentioned a similar issue with your Renault. Was the error code also related to the heater malfunction? Were the nozzles frozen too? What was the reason?

Yeah, the error code pointed to a faulty heater circuit, if I remember correctly. And yup, nozzles were frozen solid! Turned out to be a corroded connection on the heater element itself. Honestly, after fiddling with it for an afternoon, I just took it to a workshop. Best 95€ I ever spent, LOL.

Thanks for the insights and sharing your experience. It seems a workshop visit is inevitable. I will post the resolution after the repair.

Hey! Sounds like a pain, especially this time of year. I had a similar issue with my old Renault a few years back. Washer fluid just wouldn't spray when it was freezing out. Did you check if the nozzles themselves are clogged? Sometimes a little debris can cause them to freeze up faster.
