Kangoo Bluetooth Pairing Issue

I've got a 2005 Renault Kangoo, gasoline engine, with about 185k on the clock. Lately, I've been having a weird issue. My phone just refuses to connect to the car's system. I scanned for errors and it shows something about pairing. Is this a common Kangoo thing or am I just unlucky?

I had something similar happen with my Kangoo, although I can't recall the exact error message. Have you tried deleting the Bluetooth connection on both your phone and the car and then re-pairing them? Also, is your phone's Bluetooth visible?

Yeah, I've tried unpairing and repairing a few times now, and my phone is visible. Still no luck. Was it definitely the same symptoms, where it wouldn't connect at all? Did you also get an error stored?

Yep, pretty much the same. I spent ages trying different phones, deleting profiles, everything. Eventually, I just gave up and took it to a local garage. They sorted it out quickly. Honestly, save yourself the headache and get it checked. Could be something simple, but it's a pain figuring it out yourself.

Just got it sorted at the garage. Apparently, it was indeed an incorrect pairing issue. Cost me 45€. Not too bad, I guess.
