Fuses related to the security system and central locking are intact. No aftermarket alarm. What was the issue in your case? Was it a complex fix?

Right, if the fuses are okay and there's no aftermarket alarm, it's probably something more involved. Mine turned out to be a corroded connector in the door wiring harness. Needed a bit of fiddling to find. Honestly, unless you're comfortable with auto electrics, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. They'll have the tools to diagnose it properly. I ended up paying about 95€ for the repair, including parts and labor.

I appreciate the information. Given your experience and the potential complexity, I will consult a trusted workshop to diagnose and resolve the central locking issue. Thanks for the help.

Sounds familiar! I've got a Kangoo too. Had a similar problem with the central locking a while back. Have you checked the fuse box? Sometimes a blown fuse can cause all sorts of weird electrical issues. Also, does your car have an aftermarket security system or car alarm installed?
