Thank you for your input. I have not yet attempted injector cleaning. Could you elaborate on the symptoms you observed, and confirm that the injectors were the definite cause? I would be grateful for any more information.

Yes, the hard starting and rough running only happened when the engine was cold. Once it warmed up, it ran fine. After several tests, the workshop pinpointed the issue to a defective injector valve. Replacing it resolved the cold start problems entirely. I recommend taking it to a professional.

I had similar cold start problems with my Renault Kangoo, though mine is a slightly older model. It turned out to be a fuel system issue causing misfires during the initial start-up. Have you tried injector cleaning or checking the fuel pressure?
