Kangoo door lock failure
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Renault Kangoo with an electric engine is experiencing a failure in the door locking system, affecting both remote and internal controls. The issue is suspected to be related to a faulty door contact signal, wiring harness, or the module controlling the locks. Initial checks of the fuses showed no issues, suggesting a more central problem. It is recommended to consult a qualified automotive technician for further diagnosis and repair, as the issue may involve complex electrical components.

Thanks! Fuses were the first thing I checked, all seem fine. When you had a similar issue, was it all doors at once, or just one? Was the fix something you could do yourself, or did you need to take it to a shop?

In my case, it was affecting all the doors simultaneously. Given that you've already checked the fuses and the problem persists across all doors, it strongly suggests a central issue, likely the module controlling the automatic locks or a significant break in the wiring harness. I'm afraid troubleshooting further would require specialized equipment. Based on my experience, I would advise consulting a qualified automotive technician. The most likely cause would be defective cable or plug connection of the component which might result in a 95€ fix, but I can't be certain.

Thanks, I appreciate the insight! Sounds like it's beyond my abilities, so I'll book it in at the workshop.

Interesting problem. I also have a Kangoo. I vaguely remember encountering something similar. It could very well be related to the door sensor or the wiring harness. Have you checked the fuses? That's the easiest first step.
