Kangoo Electric eCall Malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Renault Kangoo Electric experienced an emergency call system malfunction, with a persistent error message and warning light on the speedometer. The issue was suspected to be caused by a defective cable or plug connection. After consulting with others, it was advised to check the fuses and consider a workshop visit due to the complexity of electrical issues. The problem was ultimately traced to a corroded connector, which was repaired at a workshop.

The error message is constant, appearing immediately upon ignition. Are there specific fuses I should be prioritizing, or should I check all related fuses?

Constant error... hmm. While fuse checking is always good practice, a constant error usually points to something beyond a simple blown fuse. Given the symptoms, and the potential cause being wiring, I'd say a workshop visit is in order. Chasing electrical gremlins can be a real pain without the right tools. Best get it sorted properly, especially with safety systems involved.

I took the vehicle to a trusted workshop based on your advice. A corroded connector was the issue. The repair, including diagnostics and connector replacement, cost 95€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction; your insights were invaluable.

That's a bummer with the eCall acting up. I've seen similar things across a couple of brands. Is the error message constant, or does it come and go? Have you tried checking the fuses related to the telematics control module?
