Kangoo Electric Keyless Entry Failure
Summary of the thread
The keyless entry system of a 2011 Renault Kangoo Electric stopped working, with diagnostics indicating an error. The suspected cause was a bad cable or plug in the door handle electronics. A similar issue was noted in another vehicle, suggesting checking the wiring harness, particularly where it flexes at the door frame. The problem was resolved by replacing a faulty connector at a workshop.

When you say check the wiring harness, do you mean where it enters the door frame, or the entire length inside the door?

My problem was near the door frame, where the harness flexes when the door opens/closes. But check the whole length inside the door. Given the complexity, a workshop might be wise to avoid problems.

Took the Kangoo to a workshop. Faulty connector was found and replaced, fixing it. Repair cost 95€ Thank you.

I had a similar issue with my 2016 Opel Astra, not electric, but petrol. The keyless entry failed intermittently, then completely. Did you check the wiring harness going into the door? It's like a main artery. Sometimes those wires chafe or corrode.
