Kangoo Electric Seat Heater Failure

Fuses, eh? Where are the fuses for the seat heaters located? The manual isn't helpful. If it's not the fuse, what did you do to fix yours? Did you DIY or take it to a professional?

Fuse locations… honestly, I can't remember exactly which one it was. The manual is garbage. If the fuse is gone, it usually means something else killed it. In my case, it was the heating element. I'm no electrician, so I took it to a workshop. They confirmed the heating mat in the seat was faulty. Save yourself the headache and take it to someone who knows what they're doing, unless you fancy setting your Kangoo on fire.

Thanks for the advice! A workshop visit is likely. Just got a quote: 390€. They reckon the heating mat is shot, just like you said. Still, better safe than sorry and less frosty!

You're not alone! I had almost the same thing happen last winter with my electric Kangoo. The light came on, but the seat stayed cold. Did you check the fuses first? It's always worth checking the simple stuff. Otherwise, it does sound like the element.
