No other obvious issues, just the starting problem and this terminal 30 thing. By dodgy earth, you mean a bad ground connection somewhere? Where should I be checking?

Yes, by 'dodgy earth' I meant a bad ground connection. In my case, it was a corroded connection on the wiring harness near the starter motor. Worth checking the health of your battery, as this could explain poor starting. I eventually took mine to a workshop. I'd suggest doing the same.

Thanks for the tip. Garage diagnosed it as a heavily discharged or defective battery. New battery and all good now. Cost me 290€, but worth it for the peace of mind.

I had something similar happen with my Kangoo, though I can't recall the exact build year. Are you seeing any other electrical weirdness? Things like lights flickering or the infotainment system acting up? Could be a dodgy earth.
