Kangoo Engine Power Loss

Thanks for the quick reply! A defective main relay, you say? Where exactly is that located, and is it something I could check myself without specialist tools?

Okay, it's located in the engine compartment, in the relay box. While you could check it yourself, without proper diagnostic tools, it might be difficult to confirm. Given the ECU error, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. A defective ECU can cause further damage if not addressed properly. I got mine repaired for around 120€. It might save you money in the long run.

Thanks so much for the advice! I'll take it to a workshop and mention the main relay and ECU issue. Hopefully, it's a simple fix. That price is reassuring too!

Hello! I also own a Kangoo, and that sounds very familiar. I experienced something similar a while back. Reduced engine power and an ECU error – sounds like a defective main relay to me. Have you checked that?
