Kangoo Engine Will Not Start

I own a 2015 Renault Kangoo with a diesel engine. It won't start, and I suspect an engine control malfunction. The battery cable connections look good. Mileage is 245137 km. Any ideas?

No, I haven't checked the engine software. Could a problem with the engine software really prevent the engine from starting?

Yes, it could, and the problem might be more complex than initially thought. Also, the diagnostic tool could show other problems. I advise a visit to a workshop.

Thank you for the advice. A visit to the workshop revealed bad cable connections. The repair cost 155€.
