Kangoo GPS Antenna Fault
Summary of the thread
The 2007 Renault Kangoo diesel's navigation system has lost GPS reception, with an error code indicating a GPS antenna fault. The antenna might be defective, potentially due to internal issues like moisture causing corrosion, even if there's no visible damage. The suggested solution is to replace the antenna, with a workshop quoting around 200€ for the replacement and fitting.

No visible damage. It looks fine from the outside. But if moisture got inside, wouldn't that cause corrosion, like on an old battery terminal?

Exactly. If there's no visible damage and you're still getting that error code, it's highly likely the antenna is faulty internally. Time to visit a workshop. A replacement antenna shouldn't break the bank, probably around 200€ including fitting.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I've booked it into a local workshop. They quoted 200€ for a new antenna and fitting, which matches what you said. Hopefully, that'll sort it. I appreciate the advice!

Could be the antenna. Is it visibly damaged? Has anything hit it or been rubbing against it? Even a small crack can let moisture in and mess with the GPS signal.
