Kangoo Height Control Issue

I'm having a strange issue with my 2012 Renault Kangoo (gasoline engine). I'm getting a 'height control restricted' warning light. My low beams seem off, either too low or too high. Also, the ride feels really bumpy, and the vehicle seems uneven – the front axle sits at a different height than the rear. I scanned for errors and found one related to the height control. With 126177 km on the clock I suspect it might be a defective control rod on the sensor. Anyone else experienced something similar?

Ugh, that sounds frustrating! Is it always like that? I had a similar problem with my old Volvo V70 – different brand, I know – and it drove me nuts. It turned out to be a faulty leveling sensor. Kept throwing all sorts of weird errors and the ride was awful. Did you check the control module itself?

Thanks for the reply! Control module, you say? Where exactly is that located? Is it difficult to access and check?

Yeah, mine was a pain to get to, I think it was near the rear axle. honestly, I ended up just taking it to a workshop and they replaced the whole thing, leveling sensor plus the defective control rod. Saved me a lot of headache in the long run. Cost me around 110€. Maybe get it checked out by a pro?

Appreciate the advice! I'll book it in for a checkup. Sounds like it's probably the height sensor or something related. Thanks again for sharing your experience!
