Kangoo Key Fob Battery

Hi, I have a 2017 Renault Kangoo electric. I'm getting a 'key battery low' warning. Now the keyless access doesn't work, there's an error stored, and sometimes it won't unlock or lock. Could it just be the key fob battery?

Sounds familiar. I have a Kangoo too and had similar issues. Replacing the battery in the auto key usually solves it. Have you checked the voltage of the existing battery?

No, I don't have a multimeter. Is it definitely just the battery? I don't want to replace it if that's not the problem. How did you fix it?

In my case it was the battery, yes. But since I'm not an expert, and you're getting errors, I would recommend having it checked at a workshop before you start replacing things. It's the safest bet.

Thanks! I changed the battery, and it's working again. Total cost was 37€. Appreciate the advice.
