Kangoo Misfire Defective Injector
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Renault Kangoo with a gasoline engine experienced a misfire, rough running, and jerking during acceleration, accompanied by a check engine light. The suspected cause was an issue with the injection system. After consulting with another owner who had a similar issue, it was suggested to check the injectors and possibly the fuel pump. The problem was confirmed to be a defective injector, which was replaced, resolving the issue.

Yes, there is definitely reduced engine power. If it was the fuel pump, wouldn't there be other symptoms too? And yes, the check engine light is on.

Could be other symptoms, yes, but fuel starvation can cause misfires too. If the check engine light is on, best get the error code read. I ended up having a defective injector, which matches your suspicion. It's hard to diagnose without proper tools.

Thanks for the insight! I took it to a workshop, and you were right - defective injector. They replaced it, and it cost me 515€. Runs like new now!

Hey, I had a similar problem on my Kangoo. Does it feel like a loss of power too? I'd check the injectors, could be a faulty fuel pump as well. Has the engine warning light come on?
