Kangoo oil level sensor issue
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Renault Kangoo is experiencing an oil level issue, with the speedometer flashing an error and the oil pressure warning lamp lighting up. The problem may be due to a faulty oil level sensor or a connection issue. A similar case involved a defective cable connection to the sensor, suggesting checking the wiring and connectors for corrosion or damage. If the problem persists, a visit to a workshop is recommended for further diagnosis.

Thanks for the quick reply. When you say cable connection, do you mean the plug directly on the sensor itself, or further up the line? I'm trying to avoid tearing apart the whole engine bay if I can.

In my case, it was the plug right at the sensor. Wiggling it made the warning light flicker, which was a good clue. However, if you're not comfortable probing around with a multimeter, I'd suggest a workshop visit to pinpoint the problem.

Appreciate the input. I checked the sensor plug, and it seems okay. I'll bring it to the workshop and have them take a look. Hopefully, it won't break the bank.

That sounds frustrating. I had a comparable situation with my old Opel Corsa, a different beast altogether, but the symptoms were eerily similar. It turned out to be a defective cable connection to the oil level sensor. Have you checked the wiring and connectors for corrosion or damage?
