Kangoo Windshield Wipers Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Renault Kangoo owner reported a fault with the windshield wipers not working, suspecting a bad cable or plug. A diagnostic check showed an error, leading to concerns about a common wiring weak point. Another person shared a similar experience, suggesting a faulty connection in the wiper switch, but since other systems like the turn signal and cruise control were unaffected, it was likely a localized wiring issue. The problem was resolved by fixing a corroded connector, confirming the initial suspicion.

Interesting. No, the turn signal and cruise control are working perfectly. Just the windshield wipers. Could it still be related, even with those systems functioning normally? Maybe a different connector?

Possibly. In my case, it was a faulty connection in the wiper switch. But that affected the turn signal and cruise control. If those are fine, it's probably a more localized wiring issue. I'd advise taking it to a workshop to avoid damage.

Thanks for the advice. I booked it in. It was a corroded connector as suspected. 95€ and it's sorted. At least it wasn't the wiper motor!

I had a similar problem with my Kangoo. I didn't check the error memory, though. Was anything else affected, like the turn signal or cruise control? Those were acting up on mine.
