Karoq Tire Pressure Warning and ABS Lamp Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Skoda Karoq diesel is experiencing a low tire pressure warning and an illuminated ABS lamp. The issue includes one tire losing air faster than others, steering wheel vibration, and increased steering effort, suggesting potential power steering failure. The problem was identified as a faulty valve causing slow pressure loss, which was resolved by replacing the valve and tire sensor.

Yes, the steering feels heavier than usual, almost like the power steering is failing sometimes. Could that really be related to a low tire or the tire monitoring system?

Heavier steering is what I experienced too. The tire sensor might be sending incorrect info to the car's computer, messing with the power steering assist. It's best to get it checked at a workshop. It could be a defective valve or a problem with the tire monitoring itself.

It was a faulty valve causing slow pressure loss. I replaced it and the tire sensor for 280€. Everything is working now, thanks for the help!

Sounds like the tire sensor is acting up. I had similar issues on my Karoq. The ABS light came on too. Do you notice any difference in the steering?
