Kia Bongo Diesel Engine Stalling Issue

Hi everyone, I own a 2014 Kia Bongo (K2500) with a 2.5 turbocharged diesel engine (D4CB) and 55,000 km on the clock. I'm experiencing a few issues: the check engine light is on, the engine runs unsteadily, and it stalls while idling. The van has a long start but idles fine, albeit slightly rough. The main problem is that it dies out immediately when I press the accelerator pedal. I've already replaced the camshaft position sensor, but the issue persists. I've also tried idling it to operating temperature without any hassle, but it still dies out once I press the accelerator. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on what might be causing this problem?

Summary of the thread

A 2014 Kia Bongo with a 2.5 turbocharged diesel engine is experiencing stalling issues, particularly when the accelerator is pressed, despite a recent camshaft position sensor replacement. The check engine light is on, and the engine runs unsteadily with a rough idle. A suggested solution is to check and possibly replace the fuel filter, as clogs or contamination could restrict fuel flow, causing these symptoms.

Start by checking the fuel filter for any clogs or contamination, as a restricted fuel flow can cause stalling and rough idling. If the filter is dirty, replace it and see if the problem improves. Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions!
