Thanks for the response. I appreciate the advice. I visually inspected the hoses and connections, but didn't find any obvious cracks or loose fittings. Could you elaborate on how to specifically check the cable and plug connection of the boost pressure sensor? What am I looking for?

Since a visual check didn’t reveal any problems, it's getting trickier. Messing with the sensor and wiring without the right tools could cause more harm than good. Given the hissing sound and multiple symptoms, and since you are not seeing any obvious issue, it’s probably best to take it to a workshop. They can run diagnostics and pinpoint the problem accurately. It really does sound like an issue with the turbo system.

I appreciate the guidance; I took your advice and brought the Nissan to a certified workshop. They confirmed the boost pressure sensor was faulty due to a defective cable connection. The repair cost 95€. I'm glad to report the issues are resolved. Thank you for your help!

Whoa, those are concerning symptoms! A faulty boost pressure sensor could be the culprit, especially with the hissing. That could mean a leak in the air intake or turbo system. Have you checked the hoses and connections around the intake manifold and turbo boost area for cracks or loose fittings? It’s often a simple fix.
