Kicks Charge Air Temperature Sensor Error

My 2016 Nissan Kicks with a gasoline engine is throwing a charge air temperature sensor error. The check engine light is on, and the car feels like it's lost power. I'm also hearing a whistling, hissing noise when I accelerate. I scanned it, and the error is stored. Could this be related to the airflow sensor? Anyone else experience this?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Opel Corsa, though it wasn't exactly the same sensor. Check the cable and plug connection. That's where my problem was.

Thanks! When you say cable and plug, do you mean the wiring harness connected to the charge air temperature sensor itself? Was it visibly damaged, or was it more of a corrosion issue?

Yeah, the connector for the sensor itself. Couldn't see any damage, but the connection was faulty. Ended up taking it to a workshop to fix it.

Good call! Took it to the shop, and it was a dodgy connection on the charge air temp sensor. 95€ later, and it's running like new! Thanks a million for pointing me in the right direction!
