Thanks! When you say cable and plug, do you mean the wiring harness connected to the charge air temperature sensor itself? Was it visibly damaged, or was it more of a corrosion issue?

Yeah, the connector for the sensor itself. Couldn't see any damage, but the connection was faulty. Ended up taking it to a workshop to fix it.

Good call! Took it to the shop, and it was a dodgy connection on the charge air temp sensor. 95€ later, and it's running like new! Thanks a million for pointing me in the right direction!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Opel Corsa, though it wasn't exactly the same sensor. Check the cable and plug connection. That's where my problem was.
