Could you elaborate on the 'reset procedures' you mentioned? I am unfamiliar with those.

Okay, so by "reset procedures" I just meant disconnecting the battery. Some modules in cars are glitchy and need a hard reset sometimes – it's like turning your computer off and on again. If that doesn't sort it, and it sounds like it probably won't, it's workshop time. "Sunroof not initialized" is usually a proper error code, not just a random hiccup. They'll need to plug it into their fancy computers and probably recode the sunroof module. If it's a messed-up setting from your previous coding, they should be able to sort it. Don't go messing with the sunroof mechanism yourself unless you know what you're doing, could end up costing you way more!

I appreciate the advice. Following your recommendation, I consulted a workshop. As suspected, the coding carried out on the vehicle had corrupted the sunroof control module's settings. The repair cost was 75€.

Dude, that sounds mega frustrating! I had a similar freakout with the sunroof on my Kicks. The sunblind acted like it was possessed, getting jammed halfway. I reckon it's the coding you mentioned messing with the sunroof system's brain. Did you try any reset procedures? Before you do anything drastic, disconnect the battery for like, half an hour. Might just need a good ol' reboot. If that doesn't work, you're probably looking at a trip to a shop.
