Thanks for the reply! I didn't hear any sounds, and the car alarm works without issues. I don't know exactly what the error code said, but I think it indicates a defective component since it says 'Error stored in the error memory', what do you think, is it probably a defective component?

Okay, no clicking and alarm works, that does narrow things down a bit. 'Error stored in the error memory' unfortunately isn't super helpful without the specific code. However, it's quite possible it's a cable or plug connection issue, as is often the case with these things. Given the symptoms and what you've already tried, honestly, it's probably best to take it to a workshop if you are not experienced. They can read the error code, diagnose the problem properly, and, most importantly, fix the car locks. Good luck!

Thanks! I appreciate the advice. It turns out you were spot on – took it to the shop, and they said it was indeed a faulty connector on the door locking mechanism. Repair cost was 95€. All sorted now!

Hey there! Intermittent central locking issues can be a real pain. Since you've checked the fuses, that rules out the most obvious cause. When you say error code, does it relate to the body control module (BCM) or something more specific like the door lock actuators? Do you hear any clicking sounds coming from the doors when you try to lock/unlock them? That could indicate a failing actuator. Otherwise, maybe it's the car alarm?
