Thanks for the quick response! No recent work done, but where exactly should I be looking for these connections? Is it something I can easily access myself, or is it buried deep?

Since no work has been done recently, it's likely age or vibration. Honestly, it could be a few spots. Without proper tools and knowledge, poking around blindly might cause more harm than good. My issue was similar, and the workshop diagnosed it as a defective cable or plug connection. It cost me 95€ to fix. I would recommend taking it to a workshop.

Thanks for the advice! Sounds like I'll need to bite the bullet and take it in. At least I have an idea of what they'll be looking for. Appreciate the help!

Hey, I had something similar happen in my Koleos. It turned out to be a dodgy connection, like a loose wire in a lamp. Was there any work done recently around the steering wheel or the actuator? It might be worth checking the cable and plug connections.
