Koleos Diesel Engine Running Lean

My 2017 Renault Koleos diesel with 74,026 km is running lean: reduced power, check engine light, irregular operation, and jerking during acceleration. I've checked the intake manifold and throttle body, but found nothing. Could defective fuel injectors be the problem, or should I check other things first?

I had a similar issue with my Koleos. Reduced engine power and the check engine light were the first signs. Did you consider the spark plugs?

Thanks for the quick reply. Since my Koleos is a diesel, do spark plugs even apply? Or were you thinking of a petrol engine?

Apologies, you are right. I overlooked the diesel part. Given the symptoms and error codes, a defective fuel injector seems likely. A workshop visit is advisable for diagnosis and repair.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed the fuel injectors were defective. The repair cost 515€, but the car runs smoothly now. Thanks again!
