Koleos fuel consumption and power loss

Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't specifically checked the cable and plug connections to the fuel injectors. I'm not super experienced with car repairs. Is it something relatively easy to access and check, or am I likely to mess something up if I start poking around? Are there any telltale signs of a bad connection? I really want to fix the power and fuel consumption issues.

Accessing the injectors can vary depending on your engine layout, so I can't say for sure how easy it'll be. But if you're not comfortable with it, I'd honestly recommend taking it to a workshop. It's worth it to avoid accidentally causing more damage. My issue turned out to be a defective plug connection. The garage charged me 95€ to fix it, and it solved all the problems.

Okay, thanks so much for the advice! I think I'll take it to a mechanic. Knowing that it could be a simple connection issue with the fuel injectors makes me feel a bit better about the whole thing. Hopefully, it's a similar fix for me. I will let you know!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my Koleos a while back. High fuel consumption, loss of power... it felt like driving through molasses! Did you check the cable and plug connections to the fuel injectors? A loose connection there could cause problems.
