Koleos Height Control Restricted Warning
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Renault Koleos displays a 'Height control restricted' warning, with symptoms including uneven vehicle height, misaligned low beams, and a bumpy ride. The issue is suspected to be related to the height sensor control rod, which may be damaged and affecting the suspension system. It is advised to have the vehicle inspected and repaired at a workshop to properly diagnose and address the faulty sensor or control rod.

Thanks. Which specific height sensors are you referring to? Are they on each wheel, or are there fewer? Did you see an uneven height issue, with the front axle different from the rear?

Yeah, I had the uneven height problem too, front definitely looked lower. The sensors are near each wheel, controlling the air suspension. Honestly, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. They can properly diagnose which sensor is faulty and replace the control rod. It's a pain to do yourself without the right tools and knowledge.

I appreciate the confirmation about the uneven height. Based on your advice, I'll take it to a workshop for diagnosis and repair of the defective control rod. Thanks; this has been most helpful.

Hey, I had something similar with my Koleos. Same 'Height control restricted' message and the headlight thing. Check the height sensors on the suspension – especially the control rods like you mentioned. They're pretty exposed and can get damaged easily. A broken rod will definitely mess with the ride height and throw those errors.
