Koleos Key Battery Low Warning
Summary of the thread
The issue with the 2014 Renault Koleos involves a 'key battery low' warning, leading to erratic keyless access and locking/unlocking problems. The likely cause is a low battery in the key fob. Replacing the battery is the first suggested solution, but if the problem persists, it may indicate a parasitic draw, requiring professional inspection to prevent further issues.

Thanks! I haven't checked the error code, but the symptoms match a low battery. When you had this, did replacing the battery solve it for good, or was there more troubleshooting?

When I had the issue on my Koleos, a new battery worked for a bit, but it failed again after a few weeks. It turned out there was a parasitic draw that was draining the battery. If a new battery doesn't fix it, get it checked by a workshop before you get stranded.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try a new battery first, and if it keeps happening, I'll take it to a workshop. A new battery fixed it. Repair cost was 37€

I have a Koleos and I've had key fob issues. Was the error code a B1051 or something? Did you try a new battery to see if that fixes it?
