Koleos Lighting Issues

Wiring loom... connector block... hmm. Where exactly is that located? Is it easily accessible, or am I going to need special tools? And yes, the error code is definitely pointing to the light switch circuit. Is it worth trying to clean the connectors myself, or am I wasting my time?

It's behind the steering wheel column trim, not terribly difficult to get to, but a bit fiddly. I tried cleaning the contacts, but it was a short-term fix, the problem came back. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. My local mechanic identified it as a defective cable, it was replaced, cost me around 100€, and the problem was gone.

Thanks for the heads-up. Sounds like I'm heading to a workshop then. Just got a quote for 95€, cable or plug connection of the component defective. Hopefully, that sorts it. Appreciate the advice!

I had similar lighting gremlins in my Koleos. Noticed the lights flickering and occasionally staying on after I'd switched off the engine. Did you check the wiring loom and connector block at the switch itself? They can sometimes come loose or corrode. Is the error code specific?
