Koleos Oil Level Sensor Fault

Thanks for the tip! I'm not super confident with electrics, but I'll have a look. Where exactly is the oil level sensor located on the Koleos? Is it easy to get to, or am I going to be crawling around under the car?

On my Volvo, it was accessible from underneath, near the oil pan. I'm not sure about the Koleos, but I'd imagine it's in a similar spot. If you're not comfortable poking around, honestly, it might be worth a quick visit to a workshop. Could save you a lot of hassle. Best case, it's just a loose wire. A scan should help point you in the right direction!

Thanks so much for your help! I took it to a local mechanic, and you were spot on – it was a dodgy connection to the sensor. They cleaned it up and secured it properly, and the light's gone! Cost me 95€, which is way better than a new sensor. Cheers!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my old Volvo V70 a few years back. Oil level warning light kept coming on even though the oil level was perfect. It ended up being a faulty connection to the oil level sensor. Have you checked the wiring and plug going to the sensor? Maybe give them a wiggle and see if anything changes.
