Koleos parking assist failure

Alright, Renault gurus! My 2008 Koleos diesel is throwing a fit. The parking assist is completely dead, and I'm seeing an error stored in the system. I've had a quick look, and I suspect a dodgy cable or connector on one of the parking sensors is the culprit. Has anyone else wrestled with this gremlin? Any specific areas I should be focusing on?

Do the blind spot sensors also rely on the same wiring harness? If so, are they also malfunctioning?

Good point! I hadn't considered the blind spot monitoring. I'll check to see if they share the same wiring. If they do and are also malfunctioning, does that further confirm the cable/connector theory?

It increases the likelihood of a shared harness or connector fault. However, a diagnostic check at a workshop is the proper next step.

Thanks. I was hoping to avoid that. But it seems like getting to the bottom of this parking aid problem requires professional intervention. I will report back if it is the cable. For now, I will bring it in to the workshop since the estimate repair cost is only 95€.
