Koleos Rail Pressure Sensor Issue

My 2008 Renault Koleos gasoline engine is giving me trouble. With 89126 km, the check engine light is always on. It sometimes stalls at idle, and feels underpowered when driving. The OBD scanner says the rail pressure sensor signal is faulty. Could a bad pressure sensor cause these issues?

I had something similar with my Koleos. Check the sensor and its wiring. It could be a loose connection or damaged wire. Is the sensor sending any signal at all?

Thanks! Were your symptoms the same? Did your Koleos also feel like it was choking? I want to be sure before I start replacing parts. How much did the repair cost?

Yes, almost identical symptoms: sluggish performance and stalling. Honestly, I'd take it to a workshop to get a proper diagnosis. It's probably the sensor, but it's best to be sure.

Thanks for sharing! I replaced the rail pressure sensor (240€). The engine runs perfectly now, like new. I appreciate the help!
