Koleos Siren Communication Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Renault Koleos owner reported a siren communication fault, rendering the alarm system non-functional. Diagnostics indicated a possible defective cable or plug connection. Another owner with a similar issue suggested that a faulty connector might be the cause. The recommended solution was to have a professional workshop inspect and repair the wiring and connectors, which was confirmed to be the issue.

Thank you for your response! Aside from the alarm malfunction, I have not observed any other anomalous electrical behavior. Could you elaborate on the specifics of the issue you encountered, particularly concerning the alarm system's behavior and any associated error messages?

Yeah, mine was just the alarm too. Eventually, I just took it to a workshop. Turned out to be a dodgy connector. Saved me a headache trying to trace it myself.

I appreciate you sharing your experience! Based on your suggestion, I shall proceed with entrusting the vehicle to a qualified workshop for a thorough inspection of the wiring and connector integrity. It appears that a professional intervention is indeed the most prudent course of action to rectify this issue. It was in fact a defective cable as suspected. Thank you again!

Hey, I had something similar happen on my Koleos. Was it showing any other weird electrical glitches, or just the alarm?
