Yes, sometimes it feels like it's struggling a bit. So, what was the problem with your Insignia in the end?

Turned out to be a heavily discharged and defective battery. These modern cars rely so much on battery power, especially with all the tech and the start-stop system. If the battery isn't up to snuff, the whole system throws a fit. I'd suggest having it checked at a workshop. It's probably worth the cost before it leaves you stranded somewhere!

Thanks for the insight! I took it to the workshop and you were right, it was the battery. Cost me 290€, but at least it's fixed now.

Hey! I had a similar issue with my 2019 Opel Insignia. The eco mode went nuts and kept stalling the engine. Does it feel like the car is struggling when it restarts? Maybe the starter motor is getting weak?
