Koleos transmission oil pressure sensor issue

Hi, I'm having trouble with my 2020 Renault Koleos diesel. It's got about 116,000 km on the clock. Recently, the engine warning light has come on, and I'm getting some error codes related to the transmission oil pressure sensor. The gearbox seems to be in emergency mode. I've noticed some slipping and unclean shifting, and sometimes there's a grinding noise when changing gears. From what I've read, it could be that the gearbox oil level is too low. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with their Koleos?

Hey, I had a similar issue with my Koleos. Transmission issues are never fun. Was the oil level actually low when you checked it? If the oil level is fine, the pressure sensor itself might be faulty. It's worth checking the sensor and its wiring harness to see if there's any damage or corrosion.

Thanks for the quick response! I haven't had a chance to check the oil level yet, but that's my next step. Where exactly is the pressure sensor located? Is it easy to access on the Koleos?

On my Koleos, the transmission oil pressure sensor was a bit tricky to get to. I'm not a mechanic, and didn't want to mess anything up. I took it to a workshop to get it sorted. They replaced the sensor and topped up the oil. Best to let a pro handle it.

Thanks for the advice! I was hoping it would be an easy fix, but it sounds like a trip to the workshop is in order. Hopefully it is just the sensor. I appreciate your help!
