Koleos water sensor malfunction

Hey, I had something like that happen with my Opel Astra. Check engine light, rough idling... Drove me nuts! Was it the same water sensor thing, or something else?

Could you tell me more about the component that failed in your Opel? I'm trying to see if the symptoms and causes line up with my Koleos.

Honestly, I can't remember exactly which sensor it was, but the symptoms sound really similar. I messed around with it, but eventually I just took it to a workshop. Turns out it was some stupid electrical fault. Saved myself a massive headache in the end.
