Kona Blower Motor Failure

My 2018 Hyundai Kona with a gasoline engine has an issue with the fresh air blower. The blower motor doesn't work, and there's an error stored in the error memory. I'm suspecting the blower motor is defective. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Summary of the thread

A 2018 Hyundai Kona owner reported a problem with the fresh air blower motor not functioning and an error stored in the system. The issue was suspected to be a defective blower motor. Another individual suggested checking the blower motor resistor, but ultimately, the problem was confirmed to be the blower motor itself, which required replacement.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

I had a similar issue with my Kona. The air conditioning stopped working, and it turned out to be related to the blower. Did you check the blower motor resistor?

No, I haven't checked the resistor yet. Where is it located, and how can I test it?

Honestly, I didn't get into the details myself. I just took it to a workshop, and they sorted it out. They mentioned something about the blower motor being faulty, so it could be that in your case as well.

Thanks for the info. I had it checked, and indeed, the blower motor was the culprit. Cost me 365€ to replace. Appreciate the help!
