Yes, the engine does idle a bit rough sometimes, especially when it's cold. Did you also experience that? What was the fix?

Yep, rough idle was definitely part of it. Honestly, I wouldn't mess with the glow plugs yourself unless you really know what you're doing. Just take it to a workshop and have them check it out. It's probably just a faulty glow plug, but they can confirm and replace it properly.

Thanks for the insight! I took it to a workshop, and you were right – a defective glow plug was the culprit. Cost me 440€ to get it sorted, but at least it's fixed now.

Hey! I had a similar issue with my Kona. Same symptoms – preheating light staying on, and the engine light popped up too. Was the engine running rough at all?
