Kona engine stalling at idle
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Hyundai Kona is experiencing engine stalling at idle, accompanied by a check engine light. The suspected cause is a malfunctioning tank ventilation valve, possibly due to clogged hoses. The suggested solution is to have the valve checked and potentially replaced by a professional.

Yeah, usually after driving for a bit. Does that mean anything specific? I was thinking it might be related to pressure or something.

Mine did the same thing. I never got around to fixing it myself, just took it to a shop and they sorted it. Sounds like your valve is probably gone too.

Cheers, I was hoping it wasn't the valve itself. Gonna book it in. Thanks for your help!

Hey, I have a Kona too, I had similar issues, engine light and stalling. Was the stalling only when the engine was warmed up?
